흩어진 요소들을 연결하여 새로운 관계를 만들어내는 과정 자체가 건축이라는 인식을 가지고 있으며 이를 우리만의 방식으로 기록하려고 합니다. 대지의 조건, 프로그램, 사용자, 사회적 맥락처럼 본래는 서로 독립적이고 무질서하게 존재하는 요소들이 설계를 통해 엮이면서, 이전에는 없던 질서와 의미가 생성됩니다. 별이 별자리가 되고, 개별의 나무가 모여 풍경이 되듯, 건축은 ‘연결’의 행위를 통해 새로운 세계를 드러냅니다.

건축은 완결된 결과물이 아니라, 의도된 불완전성과 모순을 내포한 상태를 적극적으로 수용하는 작업이라고 생각합니다. 내부와 외부, 존재와 비존재처럼 상반된 조건들을 배제하지 않고 공존 시키며, 그 긴장 속에서 공간의 가능성을 확장시키고자 합니다.
 

We see architecture as a process of constructing new relationships by connecting disparate elements, and we aim to document this process in our own way. Conditions of the site, program, users, and social context—elements that initially exist independently and without a clear order—are interwoven through design, generating new forms of order and meaning that did not previously exist. Just as stars become constellations and individual trees come together to form a landscape, architecture reveals new possibilities through the act of “connection.”

We believe architecture is not a finished object, but a practice that actively embraces intentional incompleteness and contradiction. Rather than excluding opposing conditions—such as interior and exterior, presence and absence—we allow them to coexist, seeking to expand spatial possibilities through the tension between them.
